hǎo is a modern dim sum restaurant located in the bustling Forbes Town, BGC where traditional Chinese cuisine is reimagined with a contemporary twist and modern finesse. From the delicate Xiao Long Bao to savory Siomai, every dish is made to order with precision and care, capturing the authentic textures and flavors of traditional dim sum.
The Concept
hǎo draws inspiration from the dim sum teahouses of China and Hong Kong, where every bite reflects heritage, craftsmanship, and precision.
The restaurant’s design plays with contrast: a graffiti-covered exterior embodies the urban street culture of New York, while the interior reveals a more traditional and sophisticated space where every detail—from materials to lighting—is thoughtfully curated.
which translates to ‘good’, represents the restaurant’s approachable and hospitable nature with soft, floral-inspired elements in the first floor dining area. However, the upstairs bar is represented by ‘huai’, which translates to ‘bad.’ The bar’s moody and lowkey interiors provide the perfect ambience to let the good times roll.
